The Siberian Forest Cat is a semi-long-haired cat and, like the Norwegian Forest Cat and the Maine Coon, is a natural breed. The breed, as the name suggests, originated in Russia and Ukraine. The breed was first recognized by the World Cat Federation in 1992, and by the FIFe in 1998. The Siberian Forest Cat is now recognized by most cat organizations. Todays stamp is from Monaco with a face value of 0,97 €.
